Spicy, Toasty, Cheesy Garlic Bread
- 2 loaves of good Italian or Ciabatta (the fave) , sliced across the loaf lengthwise so you have 2 slabs of bread for each loaf
- 8 ounces fresh grated parmesan cheese (go ahead, use the GOOD stuff...Parmesano Reggiano!)
- 1/2 head garlic, peeled
- 3 sticks butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (you know I like MORE!)
In
food processor with steel blade, process garlic until finely minced.
Then add the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth and
well-blended. Spread on bread and bake at 400 until lightly,
beautifully browned.
